Teaching 8th-grade English was fun, terrifying, and exhausting.

So many of the kids were great, and the energy and creativity of teens is amazing. I only did it for a couple of years, and then we moved from Florida to Minnesota.

I can’t imagine how teachers last 40 years! The paperwork alone will bury you. Teaching is really hard work, and most teachers don’t get enough pay nor respect for the important work they do.
