Matchmaking Your Manuscript:
Finding the Right Publisher

Writer and marketing professional Lisa Bullard and I are teaming up to offer an exciting new online workshop. If you have a children's or teen manuscript completed, but you aren't sure how to choose which publishers to submit it to, this class is for you!

In a six-week online class, we will lead you through the steps of market research to create a list of publishers and editors that might be a good match for your particular manuscript. We'll guide you in creating an attention-grabbing cover letter or query letter.

Between us, Lisa and I have held various marketing and editorial positions, and we have published numerous children's books. In addition, we regularly teach children's writers through the Loft Literary Center, SCBWI conferences, and online forums.
