Presentations for Writers

I love to teach. I was an 8th-grade English teacher, I've been an instructor for the Institute of Children's Literature, and now I present at writers' conferences. My presentations have included SCBWI's annual L.A. conference, day-long intensive courses at the Loft Literary Center, and a poetry workshop for my local SCBWI region. I try to encourage and inspire writers, as well as give practical tips with plenty of examples and handouts.
