After Your Author Visit

Kids are usually very excited to meet an author in person, and I want to keep that excitement going after the visit!

Once a school representative fills out and returns the evaluation form, I'll email the following materials to help extend the impact of my visit.

* Brief handout for teachers with highlights of the talk

* Resource list of terrific poetry books

* Tip sheet of easy activities to bring poetry into the classroom

* At least two poetry reproducibles for use in the classroom
