  1. Love your poem, Laura!

    Breath

    My breath
    cools you,
    fools you,
    not a breeze
    in trees?
    I?m a manmade
    wheeze.

  3. Haiku

    Rotor blades spin round
    pulling cool air toward sky
    pushing warm air down.

Laura, enjoy your day. You are certainly providing loads of fun for me each day. Loved your “ceiling fan” and penned my version (need a new fan that actually does switch for warm and cool air).

  7. I have fans in nearly every room in my new home, Laura. They do make a singing kind of sound!
Still fun to try to figure out!

    1. Here’s one response:
      I look up,
      watch the spin,
      return to Costa Rica,
      feel the breeze again.

  11. Aquarium Monsters

    the lowly snail
    strikes
    extending its mouth
    to bite
    an unsuspecting tail, too near.
    ————-
have you ever seen a snail’s mouth? It’s actually full of teeth.
