Day 12: Soap Bubbles (#NationalPoetryMonth2020)

Happy Easter! Today got away from me, and I confess this is a poem I wrote years ago, but it sort of fits today’s #waterpoemproject, so I’m sharing it here:

Like most everybody else, I’m experiencing lots of upheavals lately! I have no huge National Poetry Month plans–just hoping to share an imagepoem here each day (or as often as I can). I’m participating in Laura Shovan’s awesome #WaterPoemProject the best I can, so most of my poems will come from either that or from the PAD (Poem A Day) Challenge at Writers Digest. Grateful for the distraction of poetry and friends!

[Note: At the moment, a WordPress bug is causing some people not to see comments. I can still see all comments, and I read and then Like or Reply to each one. So please do comment! Hopefully, the bug will resolve soon.]

  1. I love it! Great combination of fun and science! Nice rhyming and rhythm. I can relate to it because my daughters and I loved blowing bubbles all the time. My oldest was inquisitive always asking how things were made. Thank you for sharing and bringing good memories to the surface.
