March in Minnesota does not look like a beautiful spring picture book. It is sometimes snowy, which is beautiful. But if warmish temps are here, then it’s brown and yellow and equal parts dried out and muddy. Frankly, it’s pretty unappealing. But there’s always spring somewhere…

One thing I do appreciate in my part of the world, south Louisiana, is the green of spring. Everything is bright. My yard is a garden center. Love your metaphors of potted rainbows and confetti blooms. What app are you using to create your images?
I know your yard is lovely, Margaret! I’m doing all my Wonderbreak poems on PicsArt app on my Android phone. Plus using Clipper (another free app) and email to email the text of the poem to my phone, save it (and my copyright footer is already in there) to Clipper, making it easier to paste into my PicsArt pic. I use the Magic and Shape Mask and Text functions within PicsArt to put the whole thing together.
Love that “borrow spring for 15 minutes”, Laura. I had to drop off some lightbulbs the other day for re-cycling & I did just that! They are beginning to display their flowers in the garden center!
It is like borrowing spring! I hear you about the mud. And with two big dogs…oh, the mud! Thank you for the smile. Tomorrow I’m off to look for crocuses in mud. x
